Adeline Lim Chang, A.I.A
As Principal and Director of Design, Adele Chang has led the firm with special focus on housing projects for the top builders in the United States and internationally since founding LCRA in 1989. Her extensive design background is complimented by expertise in site planning and experience in working with various municipal agencies and neighborhood groups. Over the past 30 years her work has received numerous building industry awards and honors, and she has been featured in various industry journals. Adele received her professional education from the University of Washington and California State Polytechnic University at Pomona, and is a licensed architect in the State of California. Outside of the studio she had served multiple terms as a member of the Design Review Committee of the City of San Marino, CA. Additionally, she has served as a judge for various national and regional architectural design awards, and has been a speaker at various industry and professional conferences. Adele enjoys travel, time with her family and exploring topics involving history, art, the environment and urbanism, and is an avid reader of science fiction.
Raffi is an experienced architect with expertise in a large variety of project types. As a second generation architect, he was inspired to become an architect as his father had his own architecture firm in LA for many years. Since joining LCRA, he enjoys working with clients to be able to guide and develop their initial ideas into built structures. Outside of the studio Raffi enjoys running, reading, watching sports, spending time with family and chasing after his active 2 year old boy.
Born in the Philippines, Jay’s love of design inspired him to pursue studies in architecture. His rational approach, thoroughness, and love of detail has added to the success of LCRA’s work and engaged the trust of our clients. Jay's work is inspired by architect greats like Frank Lloyd Wright, Arata Isozaki, Tadao Ando and Renzo Piano. In his spare time he loves to travel and also enjoys photography and skiing.
As the LCRA Office Manager, Bobbie ensures that everything runs smoothly. An avid LA Kings and Pittsburgh Steelers fan and wine enthusiast, you can also find her baking, playing, or practicing photography with her nieces and nephews. Born and raised in Pasadena, Bobbie keeps busy outside of the studio spending time with her nieces and nephews, 18 to be exact as well as 6 grand nieces and nephews!
Originally from Colombia, David’s versatility has allowed him to be responsible for critical functions in either design or production roles at LCRA. As a highly valued member of the architectural staff, David’s keen eye for architectural detail, together with his skill and knowledge has made him an invaluable part of the LCRA team. A self-confessed Star Wars fanatic, David loves to spend his time out of the studio exploring new gadgets to add to his super telescope, off-roading, cooking and spending time with his two adorable children.
Runjhun joined LCRA team in October 2016. Prior to that, she worked as a project manager and architect on major multi-family residential and mixed-use projects including new buildings, adaptive reuse and conversions, historic and landmark structures in the New York metropolitan area. Originally from India, Runjhun is a licensed architect in the states of California/New York as well as India. In her free time she enjoys playing tennis, attending concerts, traveling and hiking. She has summited Mt. Kilimanjaro and hiked Grand Canyon Rim-to-Rim. She is also involved with non-profit volunteer programs in rural India.
Michael’s interest in design began in childhood where he spent time playing with toys like LEGOs and K’NEX. As a member of the design team his work is driven by knowing that design can impact others by contributing to the built environment in a meaningful and innovative manner. When Michael is not at LCRA he can be found editing videos, solving puzzles, building furniture, traveling and acquiring new skills as a serial hobbyist.
As a Principal at LCRA, Everardo’s design sensitivity and dedication to quality of execution has resulted in many of LCRA’s most successful projects, both domestically and internationally. A native Angeleno, he is inspired by how architecture affects the world we live in and its ability to make an impact on people, either in how and where they live or in spaces in which they can interact with other people. When he’s not designing beautiful projects for clients, Everardo enjoys traveling, gardening, art, art history, restoration, exploring regional architecture as well as spending time with good friends and his 2 charming pugs, Boris and Natasha.
Sergio E. Alvarez, Jr.
With a strong background in architecture and previous positions of responsibility with other respected firms, Sergio brings critical focus to many of LCRA’s projects. After a hard day’s work, Sergio enjoys exploring his interests in astronomy and space exploration and has a passion for airplanes and aviation.
A native of the Los Angeles area, Tigran has a broad skill set ranging from design to production. As a young adult he was always involved in creative endeavors, be it painting, illustrations, or sculpture, and was inspired to become an architect after a high school teacher showed him what could be created with a “few lines drawn on paper.” When he’s not in the studio, Tigran enjoys wood working, carpentry, furniture design and looks forward to the day reality TV no longer exists.
Alfonso De La Parra
Inspired by Antoni Gaudí’s work and the realization that architecture and art could be merged in the creation of structural masterpieces, Alfonso was inspired to pursue studies in art and architecture. At LCRA Alfonso is dedicated to designing, assisting in design and drafting. Born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, he has a passion for vegetarian cuisine and also enjoys going to concerts, movies, sketching, reading and hiking.
Born in the Philippines, Randolph developed an early interest in drawing when he was a young boy which gradually expanded to a love for art & music. He is also very passionate about various gadgets, mechanical watches and fighter jets. Randolph often finds himself playing his guitar, piano or synthesizer keyboards. For him, architecture, design and construction are like a musical composition. They share similar principles like rhythm and melody.
Originally from Hong Kong, Bernard began his architecture career shortly after completing high school working with a local architecture firm as a draftsman. Inspired by a co-worker, he decided to study architecture in the United States. His career has since focused on project management. In his spare time Bernard enjoys tinkering with computers, swimming and playing table tennis as a member of the Los Angeles Table Tennis Association.
